3 Steps to Safety
First When considering any cosmetic procedure follow AESTHETiKA’S 3 step guidance
Firstly, find out as much information as you can about the procedure
- Do your homework about the procedure, read the literature about the treatment, look at before and after photos and talk to those who have had the treatment
- Ensure that you know what the other treatment options are
- Discuss your intention with friends and family
- Know the risks; what are the side effects, possible complications and contraindications
- What do you need to do before and after the treatment
- Examine the cost implications and methods of payment
Secondly, make sure that you visit a Professional
- Ensure that the establishment you choose is registered with The Healthcare Commission to provide that treatment
- Doctors and Nurses are the only people who should be giving you injections, ask who you will be seeing and what their qualifications are
- A reputable clinic will offer you a Free Consultation
- Take along a friend or family member with you
Thirdly,
- Go with ‘your feelings’ about the establishment
- Always compare, shop around and visit other clinics
- And if you are not sure WAIT
