Covid-19 Testing is available at Aesthetika Clinic today

Aesthetika Clinic is a Private Provider of Covid Testing and can be found here on the Governments List of Providers The clinic has been rigorously tested and approved to provide Covid Testing by UKAS and we are working towards our accreditation process. We have partnered up with our local labs who are also approved and they too are working towards their Accreditation for Covid Testing. It is now illegal for anyone to offer you a Covid Test unless they are registered on the Governments List of Private Providers.

Check the rules in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The private provision for covid testing is there for those with work and travel commitments. It is unreasonable to expect the NHS to provide you with a test for any future travel requirements. Aesthetika can provide you with a Fit to Fly for International Travel, Test To Release and General Covid Testing. The swab test looks for the presence of the Antigen, the Covid Virus.

Antigen testing can be undertaken using a Lateral Flow Device LFD or a Polymerase Chain Reaction PCR. These are two different methods used to give you a result.

Corona Virus is a novel virus, that means it is new to us all, therefore the ability to test and the methods we use are also new. There are some exciting developments on testing and the vaccine response means that quRntine travel will resume shortly.

When it comes to work and travel See the current Foreign Travel Advice published by HMG. Please be aware that no test is 100% accurate. Whether it is a Lateral Flow Device (LFD) or a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test there are false negatives and positives reported and any test is only as good as the person taking it and reporting it.

Ensure you choose the right test at the right time for you.

Antibody or Blood Testing

An antibody test looks for the presence of antibodies (which are produced by people with the virus) against the COVID-19 virus in your blood.

A positive result indicates the person has previously had the virus, but does not indicate immunity to COVID-19 infection, or whether you can spread the virus to other people. Those who test positive, and those who test negative, should continue to follow safer workplace guidelines including social distancing measures.

Get tested as soon as possible if you have symptoms of CoronaVirus
